Being from Pittsburgh, there are tons of family owned restaurants to choose, but when staying in Brookings, SD for a job I realized the picking were a little slim. I was told about the Knotty Pine and was intrigued because there are many restaurants in the area off the beaten path. I went to the restaurant and was not disappointed with the service/atomsphere and most importantly the food. Along with the food I had to appreciate the old school 45 juke box playing some really great oldies classics. Thanks for a home style dinner far away from home!January 10, 2017
